Dupa cum spuneam in postarea trecuta (Click AICI) , prima oprire a micii noastre excursii a fost la Lacurile Plitvice. Dupa ce am parcurs traseul H, ne-am continuat calatoria catre Dubrovnik. Noi ne-am cazat undeva la 10 km de Dubrovnik, in localitatea Orasac. Daca mergeti cu masina, eu va recomand sa nu stati chiar in Dubrovnik pentru ca parcarea este o reala problema, daca nu este asigurata de cei de la cazare, iar cazarea mie mi se pare mai buna in localitatile de langa Dubrovnik si preturile mult mai bune.

Din nou pot sa zic ca am avut un noroc mare cu cazarea. Am stat la niste oameni foarte primitori, cu care ne-am inteles de minune. Noi am inchiriat ambele apartamente de care dispune unitatea de cazare pe care, daca va intereseaza, o gasiti AICI . Am avut o mica piscina, perfecta pentru o mica balaceala, terasa, gratar, pe langa apartamentele dotate cu tot ce trebuie.

As i was saying in my previous post (Click HERE), the first stop in our little holiday was a day at Plitvice Lakes. After we went on the H trail, we continued our road towards Dubrovnik. Our house was at about 10 km outside of Dubrovnik, in the Orasac town. If you want to travel to travel there by car, i recommend that you don’t stay in Dubrovnik, and try finding accommodation in the nearby towns. The accommodations are much better and at a much cheaper price, and you don’t have to worry about parking spaces.

We had great luck with our accommodation,and the owners were really lovely people, warm and welcoming, and we managed to get along perfectly with them. We rented both apartments of the property, and if you are interested, you can find it here. We had a little swimming pool, which was perfect to cool off a bit, a terrace, grill and the apartments had everything we could need.

La plaja am mers la plaja Copacabana din Dubrovnik, care este o plaja destul de buna, cu pietre mai micute. Plaja este destul de mare, dar foarte linistita.

EN:

When we went at the beach, we went at the Copacabana beach in Dubrovnik which is a good size beach, but very relaxing.

RO:

Aveam optiunea sa mergem intr-o excursie de o zi pe 3 insule din zona, dar, noi am mers in excursia respectiva cu doi ani inainte si am constatat ca doua din cele 3 insule nu prea meritau sa fie vizitate, asa ca am optat pentru a plati o barcuta taxi pentru a ne duce pe insula Lopud. Pe insula este o plaja cu un nisip foarte fin, care se continua pana in larg, iar intrarea in apa este destul de lina. Poti sa mergi destul de mult pana sa iti ajunga apa la nivelul gatului. Singurul dezavantaj al insulei este ca partea “civilizata” este pe o parte a insulei, iar plaja este pe cealalta parte. Noi am optat sa facem naveta intre cele doua parti, atunci cand am mers sa mancam si cand am luat taxi sa ne duca la cazare. Trecerea dintr-o parte in alta a insulei se face cu masinute de golf, deoarece pe insula nu exista masini.

Oricum, este o insula minunta, ideala pentru o zi de relaxare, iar peisajul este fabulos. Imi pare rau doar ca nu am facut mai multe poze 🙂

There was an option to go on a day trip to visit three of the surrounding islands. However, we went on that trip the last time we came to Dubrovnik, and two out of three islands were not worth visiting. So we decided to book a boat taxi and go visit Lopud Island. This is an island with an amazing sandy beach. The sand continues also inside the water. The water is crystal clear, and the sand really soft, and you can go a lot into the water until the water level reaches your neck. The only drawback of this island is that the cafes and restaurants are on one side of the island, and the beach on the other side. And if you want to eat something, you have to take a golf buggy across the island.

But the island is gorgeous, with lovely views, and i am sorry we didn’t take more pictures while there.

In rest, in Dubrovnik, am mers la un tur al zidurilor vechi, tur care dureaza cam o ora la un ritm relaxat. Am facut o multime de poze la apus, la cetate si la toata zona care se vedea de pe ziduri.

Other than that, in Dubrovnik, we went on a tour of the city walls, which takes about an hour. We took many pictures with the sunset, of the city and the surroundings.

RO:

Ne-am plimbat si prin oras, unde unii din noi au avut niste mici ghinioane cu niste porumbei :)) Oricum orasul este minunat. Probabil daca nu era atat de cald incat sa transpiri dupa 5 pasi in soare era absolut perfect. Dar si asa a fost cat se putea de bine.

De asemenea, am mai fost cu o gondola care te urca pana pe un deal de unde aveam o priveliste panoramica asupra orasului. Acolo am luat cina din ultima seara intr-o ambianta foarte placuta. Nici compania nu era de lepadat 🙂

We also strolled through the city, where some of us had some incidents with some pigeons 🙂 Anyway…the city is lovely. It would have been great if in the afternoon the weather was a bit cooler, but it was still a great trip.

We also went with a cable car that took us on a hill where we had a panoramic view of the area. That was the place where we had dinned on our last evening there. The mood was great and so was the company , the food delicious making it the perfect end of our holiday.
